Team Rider
Cassie Sanger
Connecticut native Cassie Sanger has quickly made a name for herself in the sport of eventing during her Young Rider career. Trained by Darrah Alexander, Cassie developed a strong work ethic and dedication to her craft. Her first horse, Danger Mouse, proved to be a valuable partner, helping her reach CCI2* level and win Reserve Champion at the 2021 American Eventing Championships. Cassie continued to build her string with Redfield Fyre and Fernhill Zoro, achieving significant success including a third-place finish at the CCI3*L in Maryland, which earned her the 2022 RevitaVet USEA Young Rider of the Year title. In early 2023, she trained with Leslie Law in Ocala, FL, competing to the Advanced level and contesting her first CCI4*S. Cassie's impressive performances led to her selection for the U.S. Eventing European Development tour, where she competed in Strzegom, Poland and helped the team secure second place. Recently named to the 2024 U25 Emerging Athlete Program, Cassie's promising journey in eventing continues to unfold.
Team Rider
Molly Duda
USEA’s 2023 Young Rider of the Year, Molly Duda, has already found tremendous success in eventing, despite initially doubting her potential to compete at higher levels. A California native, Molly’s journey truly began when she discovered Disco Traveler, a quirky Swedish Warmblood who became her perfect match after her own horse was injured. Their bond propelled them from Training level to CCI3* in under a year, boosting Molly’s confidence as they tackled larger fences. In 2022, she expanded her string by purchasing Carlingford’s He’s A Clover, or Tommy, an accomplished Irish Sport Horse. Molly’s hard work paid off in 2023, culminating in an individual gold medal at the CCI3*-L at the USEF Eventing Young Rider Championships and a second place finish in the USEF CCI2*-L Eventing National Championships. These achievements earned Molly the Young Rider of the Year title and invitations to both USEA’s EA21 National Camp and USEF’s U25 Emerging Athlete program. Now a freshman at UCLA studying microbiology, Molly aims to move up to the Advanced/CCI4* level while nurturing her partnerships with both Disco and Tommy.
Team Rider
Danielle Platt
Danielle “Dani” Platt is a young event rider whose journey exemplifies the power of perseverance. Raised in the UK by a family passionate about animals, Dani developed a strong work ethic in her mother’s hunter/jumper lesson program after moving to the US. She switched to eventing in 2013, but as she got older and sought to establish herself in the sport, she faced burnout and considered quitting. A pivotal moment came when she met CCI5* rider Joe Meyer, who recognized her potential and welcomed her into his program. Under the mentorship of Joe and his wife Ruthie, Dani found the encouragement and opportunities she needed to reignite her passion for riding. She eventually transitioned to working full-time for the Meyers, managing the sale horse program and competing regularly. Now well-established in the industry, Dani aims to develop her own string of horses, starting with her mare Ballygriffin Chacoa Power, whom she hopes will become her first big superstar. With her determination and newfound support, Dani is poised for a bright future in eventing.
Team Rider
Devon Tresan
Devon Tresan, an animal lover from Ball Ground, Georgia, has been riding since she was a child, thanks to her parents' work training animals for the film industry. She discovered eventing at the age of 9 with her first pony, Superman, who took her to the Area III Junior Beginner Novice Rider Championship in 2018. As she grew taller, Devon transitioned to an Irish Sporthorse mare named Killiney Hill (Kite), but after Kite suffered a career-ending injury, Devon acquired two new mounts: Zavallo ("Z") and Silver Linings ("Rebel"). Despite being quirky horses, Devon forged strong partnerships with both of them, leading Z to win Area 3 Championships for three consecutive years and aiming for CCI2* competitions in the Fall of 2024. Devon hopes to eventually take Z to the Advanced level and is working towards a CC1* with Rebel in 2024. With her passion for horses and resilience in training, Devon is an exciting young rider to watch.
